Reuters reported on March 18, 2026 that Monroe Energy restarted key units at the Trainer, Pennsylvania refinery. This restart predates the March 23 BBC report of a Texas refinery explosion (a different facility). The Trainer facility appears to have recovered from any previous issues and resumed operations.
